In our Focus classes, students learn at their own pace, choosing acceleration or remediation as needed per subject. Taking the time to dive deep into subjects in small focus groups creates both camaraderie between classmates, and a stronger grasp on subjects through interaction and discussion.
Another incredible benefit of our educational model at Aurum Prep focuses on how our teachers support each other. Through a “Push In” model of teaching, our instructors participate as assistants in one another's classes. Our history teachers help english teachers catch students up, as do our math and science teachers. By aligning and supporting each other, this not only helps our teachers, but also provides our students with extra support whenever they need it.
