Social Studies Teacher

Robert was born and raised in the East Bay. He is no stranger to blue collar, hard work. After winning a NCS State Championship in 1989 in football, he received a scholarship to Santa Clara University. With a major in English, he became part of the first creative writing class to have a specified discipline in poetry and classical literature. Adhering to his calling as an "oral griot and keeper of the ancient lore," he became a published poet with his first collection of poetry after receiving his BA degree in English with a minor in World History in 1995.

Robert has been teaching for many years and is excited to continue his career as part of Aurum Preparatory Academy's founding team. Robert is also a community activist, a minister in training, a Deacon of Security at Acts Full Gospel Church, and is proud to follow in the footsteps of his father, Bishop Bob Jackson.
